“The man who went on a shooting spree in a Toulouse Jewish school may have recorded his crime with an extreme sports video camera strapped to his chest – equipment suggested by Norwegian killer Anders Behring Breivik.”

Double the speculation!

Double the fun!

I’m surprised that the media is citing the ABB case without apparently having learned anything from the ABB case.

You know, maybe it’s not such a good idea to speculate about the identity and motives of the killer(s) until you’ve caught the killer(s), because your Al Qaeda-linked gunman motivated by Norweigan involvement in NATO operations in Afghanistan and broader Scandinavian support for freedom of expression after the Muhammad cartoons controversy may not actually exist.

  1. Though weirdly enough the shooter’s claiming to be affiliated with Al Qaeda, angry about NATO intervention, and named Muhammad. Right criminal profile, wrong crime. Weird…

  2. Maybe the killer had read the media reports about the ABB case.
